Deadline Extension Notice For CCIC 2021
Upon requests from potential participants and in order to provide sufficient time for preliminary submissions in CCIC 2021, the organising committee has decided to extend the deadline of the preliminary round to 15th October 2021 for generators and 22nd October 2021 for judges.
In addition, please notice that the submission requirements for judges have changed after the discussion and consideration of the CCIC Organising Committee:
For judges, preliminary submission is voluntary. Participants can still participate in the final round without any preliminary submission. Any valid submission record before the final submission deadline (6th Nov 2021) will be considered as completing the registration for this challenge. It is strongly recommended that judges participate in the preliminary submission, which will be a warm up and a preparation for the final submission.
For generators, participants are still required to complete both the preliminary submission and final submission.

| End of August 2021 | Beginning of challenge | A list of violin composers will be released, where each violin composer has a specific music style. |
| 15th Oct | Preliminary submission deadline for generators | Participants who have chosen to build a generator should submit their output. Valid submission indicates registration to the challenge. |
| 22nd Oct | Preliminary submission deadline for judges (Voluntary) | Participants who have chosen the judge role should submit their output. Valid submission indicates registration to the challenge. Notice that this submission is optional/voluntary and therefore not a prerequisite for the final submission. |
| 1st Nov | Release of the beginnings and endings | Beginnings and endings are released in pairs as a part of requirements of final submission. |
| 3rd Nov | Final submission deadline for generators | Generator systems should complete these phrases in 48 hours and make the final submission. |
| 4th Nov | Release of the generated phrases | Generated phrases will be compiled, shuffled and made available to judge systems. |
| 6th Nov | Final submission deadline for judges | Judges systems should calculate the s in 48 hours and make the final submission. |
| Mid-Nov | Result announcement | Results and prizes will be announced during the conference |
